The world doesn’t need more isolated heroes—it needs a collaborative Church.
We are living in a time of unprecedented challenges and extraordinary opportunities. Cultural shifts, rising secularism, post-pandemic fatigue, and leadership burnout have pushed many churches and leaders to the edge. But this moment also holds promise—if we dare to imagine a new way forward. That way forward is together.
The Great Collaboration is a movement of leaders, churches, and networks choosing partnership over pride, unity over isolation, and multiplication over maintenance. It’s not just a strategy—it’s a return to something deeply biblical and profoundly influential.
In John 17, Jesus prayed that His followers would be one. Not uniform, but unified. Not clones, but co-laborers. That kind of unity isn’t sentimental—it’s missional. Jesus said the world would come to believe in Him because of it.
But somewhere along the way, we’ve settled for silos. We’ve built platforms instead of partnerships, brands instead of bridges. As a result, the Church is often fragmented and fatigued, doing good work but doing it alone. The Great Collaboration invites us to set aside our egos and recommit to a shared mission.
So what is it?
The Great Collaboration is a shared Kingdom effort to multiply disciples, leaders, churches, and movements together.
It’s churches linking arms instead of competing for the same people. It’s networks and denominations working across lines to start new expressions of the Church. It’s pastors and planters saying, “We can go further if we go together.”
It’s also deeply practical.
Collaboration leads to:
Shared learning: We grow faster when we learn from each other
Shared resources: we multiply more when we pool tools, people, and wisdom
Shared mission: We’re more focused when we pursue what Jesus called us to together
This site aims to share the story of this collaboration—what it looks like, what it requires, and how everyone can get involved. You’ll find reflections, field notes, strategy, theology, and honest questions. You will discover practical tools and opportunities to participate in the work of the Great Collaboration. You will also hear from real-world practitioners who are committed to this mission.
Think of it as a dispatch from the frontlines of Kingdom collaboration.
We believe this is how movements grow. Not through the genius of one, but the generosity of many. Not by building empires, but by planting seeds of partnership that bear fruit a hundredfold.
If your heart beats for Kingdom multiplication…
If you’re tired of going it alone…
If you believe the Church is better when it works together.
Then welcome. You’re already part of the Great Collaboration.
Let’s build something bigger than any one of us.
Your friend on mission,
Patrick
Multipliers Takeaway: The movement multiplies when we move as one.
